We believe that full immunisation is vital if you wish to protect your child and the practice offers the full range of childhood vaccinations. Your baby should have their first immunisations at two months old. Further immunisations will be offered according to current national guidelines.
Family Planning and Women’s HealthEmergency contraception is always available and the practice nurses are trained to offer this.
We offer all forms of reversible contraception including pills, intrauterine devices (coils and Mirena), implants and caps.
We provide advice on other aspects of women’s health, the menopause (including hormone implants) and pre-conception advice.
Cervical ScreeningCervical screening is carried out according to national guidelines. It is usually undertaken by the practice nurses. You will receive a written invitation to have this test and you will be informed in writing of your result.
Smoking CessationWe recognise that smoking is one of the biggest risk factors to health. If you want help to quit, you can contact the smoking cessation clinic on the following number.

We offer a comprehensive foreign travel advice service, to include the full range of necessary vaccinations (including Yellow Fever). This is not covered by the NHS and as such incurs a charge.
Please ask for an appointment with the Travel Clinic nurse.

Minor SurgeryWe offer a range of minor surgical procedures including joint injections & removal of lumps and bumps.
